[me, myself, & i] + upcoming giveaway!

Go ahead...Click on the button and link-up.
Dooooo it!

(1) What's your biggest phobia?
-->Normally, I would say failure. I've always been determined to succeed at everything I do, basically because I would be embarrassed if I didn't.
-->Since graduating college, I've developed a fear of being poor. Now, I don't mean a fear of being not rich. I've NEVER been rich and I don't need to be. When I say poor, I mean not being able to pay for basic amenities such as rent, electric, food. I know JD and I are nowhere near that point, but every time we go grocery shopping, I cringe at the total.
-->(Sorry, long answer). Currently, I'm having fears of childbirth. I am VERY excited to meet my little man, but the process of bringing him into this world makes me nervous.

(2) If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?
-->My wedding day. The time FLEW by and I would like to go back and try to remember every.little.thing.

(3) If you could choose to stay one age for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
-->Somewhere in the college years. I worked extremely hard, but also had fun. I had great friends. There was no shame in having pizza for dinner 4 nights a week. I loved walking around campus. Although I missed high school, I knew I had my best times ahead of me.
[I'm on the bottom left...rockin' the side pony, sweatpants, and knock-off Uggs for a Homecoming Parade.]

(4) Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
-->A professor in college told me over and over that I reminded her of Brooke Shields. A couple of guys in my class disagreed and said I was more like Brooke Burke. Although, flattering, I think they're all crazy. Seriously...it's just the skin and hair color. Actually, I like their hair colors better....

(Shields, me, Burke)

-->I get stopped frequently because people think I'm someone they know. I can't even count the number of times I've been tapped on the shoulder, waved to, etc. only to have the person freeze when they realize I'm not who they thought I was. And I'm always told I look like someone's friend, cousin, sister, etc. Oh the joys of being average... :-P

(5) Which songs are included in the soundtrack of  your life?
I love all songs by Kenny Chesney. I wish his songs about partying and beaches described my life!

Wowza!
I logged on this morning to see that I have
99
followers. Wow!! I know that number seems so small for many of the blogs I follow, but I was completely surprised and honored to have that many people reading my posts. When I reach 100, I would like to host my first giveaway for all of you who click on my page regularly!

In addition to whatever I decide to give away, I would like to open up this opportunity for my followers who have shops (Etsy, etc.). If you have a shop you want to promote, leave me a comment or send an e-mail my way (abuckeyeinbagderlandblog@gmail.com). I would love to include you in my giveaway. You can put a specific product up for grabs or an amount of money to be spent at your shop. ALSO, discounts for A Buckeye in Badgerland followers are welcome :) You set the terms and let me know what you're interested in!

xoxo,
Sarah

Yea I'm your 100tg follower! I should get some kind of prize for that shouldn't I?!? Totally agree on the fear of being poor. I want so bad to be financially stable and while we are right now it's because we don't have any kids and live in a little apartment. Thinking about kids and mortgages and car payments makes me sick to my stomach. Just found your blog and I have loved getting to know you better. I'm excited to follow along!

new follower :)
